St Luke's Hospice's charitable activity is centred on the provision of specialist palliative care to those within its catchment area suffering from advanced progressive illnesses. During 2008, we were able to refurbish our inpatient areas and also part of our day care areas thanks to grants for the Department of health and a number of trusts. This did result in some closure periods which are reflected in the activity report below
