Barclays support their local Hospice

Barclay’s Area Manager of Harrow, Christina Chan decided that this year she would let staff in the 23 branches in her area to decide which charity they would like to support. St Luke’s was overwhelmingly the first choice for people across the branches in the Harrow area.

Barclay’s employees have already taken on St Luke’s 100ft Abseil challenge in Batman and Robin outfits and they raised an outstanding £1200. A cheque for this amount was presented to St Luke’s in March. They are also keen to get involved in further fundraising and volunteering projects throughout the rest of the year and this includes, Tea at 3 at all their local branches and a team for St Luke’s biggest fundraiser, the Midnight Walk.

St Luke’s are extremely grateful for Barclays support and look forward to working with them in 2011.
