Director of Blue Ginger to be locked up in the name of St Luke’s!

On Friday 1st April, 10 prominent members of the local community will be tried and locked up at Harrow Crown Court all in the name of charity. The detainees will need to raise the sum of £1000 ‘bail’ each in order to be let out.

Director of Blue Ginger, Ketan Mandalia, is looking forward to the opportunity, ‘Blue Ginger opened over 6 years ago and it has supported St Luke’s from day one through sponsored walks and supporting events. This time it is my duty to do something for a worthy charitable cause’.

Ketan will be joined by other big names from Harrow and Brent. The prisoners can raise the bail ‘fee’ on the run up to the event and will be allowed access to a mobile phone to raise any shortfall on the day! St Luke’s hopes to match the £15,000 raised at the 2009 Jail and Bail as this amount will pay for a part-time nurse.
