Santa Dash raise festive spirits for St Luke’s
A whole host of Santas complete a 3-mile long run in Harrow
Over 200 people joined in this year’s festive spirit by participating in a 3-mile long Santa Dash for St Luke’s on Sunday 12 December. Everyone involved in the dash put a great effort in and were provided with a Santa costume to wear on their run.

Santa Claus kicked off the event at 11:00am; starting at the Belmont Health Centre and finishing at the Spanish Arch pub in Belmont Circle, Harrow. A wide range of people took part and this included men, women, children, babies in buggies & even dogs on leads!
Young Walker, Callum Carolan, says, “I’m nearly 4 and I am doing the Santa Dash to help get money for St Luke’s Hospice so that they can help to look after the sick people at the Hospice and help them have a nice Christmas. I am looking forward to dressing up like an Elf and seeing my mummy and daddy in their Santa outfits!”
St Luke’s Director of Fundraising, Pam Russell, said: “We raised around £6000 last year and then we had just 100 people participating. This year we have had around 250 and we are really happy with the support.”
