Daring twins to skydive at 10,000ft for St Luke’s!
St Luke’s silver skydive event takes place on Saturday 21 April and local twins are taking on this exhilarating plunge in memory of their dad.
21 year old twins, Stacey and Leanne McDonagh live in Edgware and are gearing up for St Luke’s 25th anniversary skydive challenge which takes place on Saturday 21 April. They will skydive at 10,000ft in memory of their father, Terry Mcdonagh who had received St Luke’s care after being diagnosed with a terminal illness and sadly passed away in August 2011.

The twins say, ‘We have always wanted to do a skydive and as soon as we saw we could do it for St Luke's, we thought it was the best opportunity. We decided to take part because our dad was taken care of at St Luke's for a couple of weeks during July and August 2011 after finding out he had terminal cancer. He was taken very good care of by everyone at the Hospice. We are both feeling very nervous about the skydive but excited to raise money for a good cause.’
Stacey works in a salon and is leaving sponsorship forms for her clients to encourage them to sponsor her. They are both trying to raise money by circulating their JustGiving page link to friends and family and you can support them as well by visiting, www.justgiving.com/Staceys-skydive or www.justgiving.com/Leannes-skydive.

Are you courageous enough to skydive at 10,000ft from Hinton Airfield, Northamptonshire in aid of St Luke’s? There is a non- refundable deposit of £50 and if you raise £400 through sponsorship you can skydive for free. Entries must be booked by Friday 17 February to guarantee a place.
