Summer fun at St Luke’s 25th anniversary fete
Families and friends enjoyed lots of fun in the sun at St Luke’s Summer Fete on Saturday 21 July and raised a magnificent £3500.


St Luke’s 25th anniversary Summer Fete took place on Saturday 21 July. Over 400 people came along and enjoyed lots of great activities on offer. The Mayor of Harrow, Nizam Ifmail welcomed guests and said a few words to explain the importance of St Luke’s work in the community. Councillor Navin Shah also came along to support the event.


Friends and families enjoyed live entertainment from a group of Bollywood dancers and a band formed by volunteers and a St Luke’s fundraiser. HCT FM reported live on the day.
Children enjoyed many exciting activities on offer which include face painting, go-carting, pin the crown on the queen and climbing on board a real fire engine! Adults didn’t miss out as they enjoyed massages, henna tattooing, delicious food, ice-cream and a selection of goods on sale.
A big thank you goes to all the visitors who came along on the day, the people who held stalls and all the volunteers for their help and support. The event raised a magnificent £3500 for St Luke’s Hospice.
