The Palliative Care Development Programme is designed for nurses who have little or no palliative care experience. Four new posts have been created to support the training and development needs of inexperienced staff joining the St Luke's team.

It is envisaged that The Palliative Care Development Programme will run over a period of six months - this will be a probationary period for each Registered Nurse. Nurses recruited to this programme will be assigned a mentor for this period.
