A donation to St Luke's Hospice is suggested for each lunch, and hand-made greetings cards and St Luke's Hospice items are on sale at each venue. Everyone welcome, no need to book, just turn up on the day.

BINGO NIGHT: Tuesday 9 March

At Freddy's Bar, Harrow. After the last successful Bingo Night, we have decided to throw another one! CONCERT IN AID OF ST LUKE'S HOSPICE: Saturday 20 March

The Harrow Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michael Teychenne, are kindly putting on a concert in aid of St. Luke’s Hospice. It starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available on the door at £10 each, concessions at £5 (refreshment will be on sale). The concert will take place in the Rowland Brown Hall at St Helen's School, Eastbury Road, Northwood HA6 3AS. At this special concert the renowned pianist Albina Seulbinaite will be performing the Grieg Piano Concerto. For more information please check the Orchestra's website.

15-1 SPRING CHALLENGE, ST MARY'S CHURCH, HARROW-ON-THE-HILL: Sunday 21 March

Join us on this Spring walk around the sights and ascents of Harrow-on-the-Hill. The walk starts at St Mary's Church, Harrow-on-the-Hill at 2pm, where refreshments will be available before and after the walk. Registration starts at 1.30pm. ST LUKE'S DRAGON BOAT RACE: Date tbc in May

Are you a Company that wants to get their team motivated? Or a group of friends that wants to do something fun on a Sunday? All you need is 12 friends and you can submit a team to take part in our Dragon Boat Race, 2010. It is £20 per person and a minimum sponsorship of £150 per person, per team. 1940s DAY AT BENTLEY PRIORY: Saturday 22 May

St Luke's is delighted to join forces with Bentley Priory Battle of Britain Trust to transport you back to the forties. Bentley Priory is a handsome country house on Stanmore Hill which has gone down in history as the headquarters of Fighter Command, the spot from which Sir Hugh Dowding directed his men in the Battle of Britain. There will be two events on the day:

Open Afternoon
Afternoon teas, Spitfire display, military, brass and steel pan bands, tours of the priory, dance, drill and re-enactment displays, art exhibition, children's workshops and activities, and lots more. Entrance ticket £3.50, children free. Guided tours of the Priory, which must be pre-booked are available for a minimum donation of £2.
Big Band Night
A great chance to enjoy a summer evening at this historic venue which is rarely open to the public. Relax on the terrace with panoramic views of London or enjoy a drink in the officers' mess before a two course dinner and dancing to the sounds of Jazz Hands Swing Orchestra. The evening will include forties dance displays and an art exhibition, as well as forties music from the Apollo Male Voice Choir. Full price £25 to include two-course meal. Discount price of £22.50 available to pensioners, and those booking before the end of March.

THE GREAT GLEN WAY WALK: 29 May to 4 June

This is a walk for all abilities - through wonderful scenery, but no significant ascents or descents to worry the novice walker. This could be the one that gives you the "walking bug". Hotel(waiting list) or Hostel(available) accommodation is booked and is based in Drumnadrochit. You can do the whole walk or opt for a shorter distance each day: we have an experienced back-up team and first-aider who look after our walkers en route. Transport is provided, so things couldn't be easier, all you have to do is enjoy a wonderful walk, and of course raise sponsorship for the hospice. We've organised a series of training walks in February (7, 13, 15, 21, 27), March (7, 13, 16, 21, 27), April (4, 10, 14, 18, 24) and May (2, 8, 16, 20, 22) in the local countryside to get you in good walking trim. Everyone's welcome, even if you aren't joining us for the Great Glen Way. Details

ST LUKE'S LADIES' MIDNIGHT WALK 2010: Friday 11 June

Calling all ladies of Harrow and Brent! This year’s Midnight Walk takes place on Friday 11 June. The night kicks off at 10:30pm at Harrow Leisure Centre with a fun warm up before the walkers set off on the nine mile route which passes through Harrow Weald, Stanmore, Kingsbury and Kenton. Come and see Patrick and Anne Wyman's beautiful Spring garden at 47 Elmcroft Crescent, North Harrow HA2 6HL, from 2.00 to 4.30 pm. Entry £2, includes strawberry cream tea. Raffles, plant sale. Extra parking nearby in George V Avenue. H18 or H19 bus to the Elmcroft Crescent stop in Headstone Lane.

ST LUKE'S SUMMER FETE: Saturday 3 July

Another afternoon of fun has arrived in the form of St. Luke’s Annual Summer Fete. Come and join us for a welly throwing contest or face painting. Or take a break and taste our wonderful cakes and sandwiches. Enjoy an idyllic afternoon in the sun browsing around plants and jewellery stalls. There is something for everyone to enjoy. BRITISH 10K RUN: Sunday 11 July

St Luke’s is lucky to have 6 valuable places for this year’s sought-after British 10k run. Take part in this fabulous event, and view the stunning landmarks across London. CENTRAL HARROW CHURCHES COFFEE MORNING: Every Wednesday, 10.00 till 12.00.

Pop into Harrow Baptist Church, College Road, Harrow on a Wednesday for coffee and cake. Also on sale most weeks are books, greeting cards and St Luke’s merchandise. All money from these coffee mornings goes to St Luke’s.
