THE AMICI CHAMBER CHOIR SUMMER CONCERT: Saturday 27 June
The Amici Chamber Choir is performing a summer concert at Kenton Methodist church at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be conducted by the choir's newly appointed conductor, Jeremy Haneman, and feature American music such as George Gershwin's Porgy and Bess and settings of Shakespeare Songs by George Shearing. There will be a collection at the end of the concert on behalf of St Luke's Hospice. Tickets will be available on the door or in advance from Herga Music, Harrow Weald, (020 8861 1590), or by e-mail to enquiries@amicichamberchoir.org.uk. ST LUKE'S SUMMER FETE: Saturday 4 July.
At St Luke's Hospice, Kenton Road, Harrow, 11am to 2pm. Another afternoon of fun has arrived in the form of St Luke's Annual Summer Fete. Come and join us for a welly throwing contest or face painting. Or take a break and taste our wonderful cakes and sandwiches. Enjoy an idyllic spell in the sun, browsing around plants and jewellery stalls. There is something for everyone to enjoy If you would like to host a stall, please contact Mita Vaghji on 020 8382 8063 or by e-mail. Any unwanted gifts of books, CDs or DVDs and raffle donations would be greatly appreciated.
ANNUAL GOLF DAY: Monday 13 July
This year, St Luke's Golf Day is taking place at Northwood Golf Club. You can either play on your own at £70 each or play in a team of four with an entry fee of £260. It will be a fantastic summer's day of golfing galore! A buffet dinner in the evening is included - guests welcome for £30. SUMMER SALE: Saturday 18 July
10.30am at South Harrow Baptist Church. Home-made cakes, bric-a-brac, books, plants, hand-made greeting cards, gifts and refreshments will all be on sale. All proceeds go to St Luke's. For more information call Brenda Cripps on 020 8422 7742.
RANJINI AND THUSITHA'S OPEN GARDEN: Saturday 18 July

ST LUKE'S FAMILY 3K FUN RUN: Sunday 16 August
This year we have teamed up with BMI Healthcare and Anatomie Physiotherapy Plus to host a family fun run. We aim to make it match the success of the Midnight Walk. CINEMANIA: Wednesday 19 August
This is St Luke’s very first outdoor cinema event where you can watch the box office rom-com; Bride and Prejudice. Tickets are only £6 and they are limited so book your tickets now! Please bring a picnic blanket or folding chair if you prefer or you could always sit on the grass. Event starts at 7:30pm – so don’t be late!
ST LUKE'S ARSENAL CELEBRITY FOOTBALL MATCH: Sunday 6 September
We are looking for 20 players to take part in the match against the well-known ex-Arsenal and celebrity team. Spectators also wanted! The match takes place at Wembley FC, Vale Farm, and will be part of a day of guaranteed fun and entertainment, with refreshments provided. VOICES FOR HOSPICES: Saturday 10 October
This year the Voices for Hospices concert will be at the Harrow Campus of the University of Westminster. It will include a variety of items, including Stagecoach, the Jubilate Choir, flash musicals who will be doing a Michael Jackson tribute, and the Harrow Big Brass Band, to name a few. CENTRAL HARROW CHURCHES COFFEE MORNING: Every Wednesday, 10.00 till 12.00.
Pop into Harrow Baptist Church, College Road, Harrow on a Wednesday for coffee and cake. Also on sale most weeks are books, greeting cards and St Luke’s merchandise. All money from these coffee mornings goes to St Luke’s.
