Checklist for Event Organising
- Do you need a venue?
- Have you secured a date?
- Do you know who is in charge?
- Do you have support?
- Is there enough time to display posters, sell tickets or collect sponsorship?
- Do you have enough help and support not only on the day but before and after too?
- Do you have all the materials you need e.g. raffle tickets, information about the hospice?
- Have you arranged necessary transport/parking?
- Have you arranged the publicity that you need to promote the event?
- Does your event clash with any major dates that may affect turn-out?
- Have you thought through any health and safety regulations, insurance and complied with any procedures?
- Do you have your timings planned for the event?
- Have you sent any necessary confirmation to venue, volunteers, speakers etc?
