Checklist for Event Organising

Do you need a venue?
Have you secured a date?
Do you know who is in charge?
Do you have support?
Is there enough time to display posters, sell tickets or collect sponsorship?
Do you have enough help and support not only on the day but before and after too?
Do you have all the materials you need e.g. raffle tickets, information about the hospice?
Have you arranged necessary transport/parking?
Have you arranged the publicity that you need to promote the event?
Does your event clash with any major dates that may affect turn-out?
Have you thought through any health and safety regulations, insurance and complied with any procedures?
Do you have your timings planned for the event?
Have you sent any necessary confirmation to venue, volunteers, speakers etc?
