FUNDRAISING> REMEMBER ST LUKE'S

Remember St Luke's in your Will

A gift to St Luke's in your will would be a gift to future generations in Harrow and Brent.
It would be a gift to people with advanced cancer or other diseases who need our care to be able to make the most of their time with their loved ones. It would be a gift to carers who may need specialist counselling to help cope with the loss of a relative. It will be a gift to help us to continue our work and develop and extend our service of care. As St Luke's is a charity, a legacy will be exempt from inheritance tax.

Why make a will?

Each year two out of three people die without making a will. A will is an effective and simple way to help the people and the cause you care about. The only way you can be certain that your money will go where you want it to go after your death is to make a will and keep it up to date. By taking action now you could divert the money that would be paid in tax to your family or to a charity instead.

Five simple steps to making a will:

1. decide what you want to do
2. choose a good solicitor
3. work out the value of what
you own
4. choose executors
5. keep your will up to date and
in a safe place
