Due to the nature of the work involved we have a number of ways you can start your volunteering with us. We recruit volunteers on a needs led basis, so please have a look at our current vacancies. We will regularly update our website as opportunities become available.

We process all applications as soon we receive them.
Due to the diverse nature of volunteering with us we cannot offer specific timeframes for individual roles.
We value every application received and check the progress of applications every fifth week, therefore if you require an update you can email or call us.

Once we have received your contact details/application form a shop manager will call you to arrange a convenient time for an interview. Based on the outcome of the interview, we aim to welcome you as a St Luke’s shop volunteer as quickly as possible. |

| Volunteering in the Hospice |
| Reception, Administration and Gardening | Please fill out an online application form Once we have received your application form you will be contacted by the Line Manager for an interview. Your start will be based on the following : Outcome of the interview, satisfactory references and satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau clearance. |
| Patient care: Day Care; Inpatient Unit Volunteers and Volunteer Drivers | We will be recruiting volunteers to this area in the New Year, as we are currently reviewing our clinical volunteer recruitment process. |
