Day and Evening Wear were modelled alongside a range from our 50/50 Designer Wear and our bridal range. We would like to thank all involved in making the event so enjoyable for all concerned – and so much fun that it will be repeated in the autumn at our Harrow Weald shop

Despite a chilly north wind, some 65 people came to Patrick and Anne Wyman's open garden event on 19 June. "A good mix of our neighbours and hospice people" said Patrick. Lots of friends helped with running the raffle, catering, lending chairs and putting up/dismantling the gazebos. Pat Fenwick managed the plant sale, and others sold cards and jewellery. Hospice funds benefited by £420.
On Friday 11 June, 1,311 ladies took part in St Luke's biggest event of the year, the annual Midnight Walk! The event raised a mega £210,000 in just one night, with donations still coming in.
The event was a tremendous success with ladies of all ages taking part. Pam Russell, Director of Fundraising at St Luke's, said: "It's amazing how well our Midnight Walk has taken off within our local community. The atmosphere is electric here tonight. The money raised has been a record amount since the event launched three years ago, it will definitely go a long way in maintaining our services which we provide to our community free of charge."
On 23rd July this year, 4 school friends, Ajay, Tiku, Jeegnesh and Waqas will be entering the Crumball Thundercrawl Banger Rally held across Europe. The rally kicks off in Boulogne, France, goes over the Swiss Alps and finishes in Venice. Cars taking part must all have been bought for less than £200. Having been great fans of cars and everything about them from a very young age, they decided to take up a challenge and wanted to donate to a worthy cause like St Luke’s. Tiku says “This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something that we as friends are passionate about and, at the same time, raise funds for a worthy cause that really needs our support.” To sponsor their challenge and support St Luke’s Hospice please go to their Justgiving page to make your donation today.
