Chris Hircombe and his son, James are getting ready to complete this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon challenge. Chris says, ‘I am very excited to be taking part in the London Marathon after a break of 7 years since my last and only one. I decided to run for St Luke's this time as unfortunately my brother in-law passed away there last January. I would describe St Luke's care as extra ordinary, so caring and understanding of individual needs.

25 year old, James Hircombe says, ‘I thought the care, effort and time that everyone at St Luke's Hospice gave my uncle in his last couple of months was incredible and motivates me to raise as much money as possible. ‘

If you are lucky enough to have a place for the Virgin Money London Marathon and you would like to support St Luke’s, Visit www.stlukes-hospice.org/marathon or phone 020 8382 8056. St Luke’s will support you through your marathon journey, invite you in to have a look around the hospice, provide you with a St Luke's running vest and come along to cheer you on.
