Amazing volunteers make it a success!
We celebrated our amazing volunteers at several fantastic events organised during Volunteers' Week, which included an Afternoon Tea party, a fun-filled quiz night and a sound therapy session among others!
The Volunteers’ Week campaign was started in 1984 to say thank you to volunteers and recognise their invaluable contribution to the organisation and the cause.
The annual campaign takes place every year from 1-7 June. Nationally, one in five people volunteer at least once a month and 80% of the volunteers give their time locally, in their own neighbourhoods.
Volunteering at St Luke’s is open to everyone, and we are committed to supporting, enabling and championing volunteering in all its forms.
St Luke's Hospice volunteers make a huge difference that our volunteers make to our patients and our work throughout Harrow and Brent.
Whether it's from processing donations to maintaining our wonderful patient gardens at Kenton Grange, the difference that they make is truly incredible!
