Kingsbury temple's 5th anniversary parade at St Luke's Hospice

Kingsbury Temple donation

Thousands took to the streets of Kingsbury to watch a colourful parade to mark Kingsbury Hindu temple's fifth anniversary, which started from St Luke's Hospice.

Five years ago when the temple was established, the temple group organised a celebratory parade starting at the Hospice. On its fifth anniversary, the Mandir recreated the same ambiance with celebrations starting at the Hospice. The temple has supported St Luke's over the years.

A group of walkers from the Mandir raised £10,000 at the Midnight Walk. Temple officials presented the cheque to our trustee Mr. Robert Elkeles at the Hospice.

The Queen's Deputy Lieutenant for Greater London, Simon Ovens, Brent North MP Barry Gardiner (Lab), and Brent Council leader Muhammed Butt were among the guests at the parade.
