Contract: Permanent – part-time, 15 hours per week (Fridays and Saturdays only)
Salary: £9,321.20 (FTE £23,303) pa

Job Purpose and scope
To effectively support the warehouse supervisor in the day-to-day running of the warehouse. Provide support to warehouse staff and warehouse volunteers. Provide helpful service to members of the public who may be making donations to the warehouse.
The Donation Centre Assistant plays a vital role in the success of the Hospice Retail Income Generation supporting the Donation Centre Manager and team in the successful running of our Donation Centre, the post holder must be hardworking, self-motivated and enjoy working as part of a team.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Donation Centre manager, distribution drivers and team of volunteers in managing the collection and distribution of donated stock both at the warehouse and across the retail shops. Sorting and processing of stock whilst ensuring the Gift Aid scheme is operated correctly within the Donation Centre.
