Introducing the “Starlight Walk”

The biggest fundraising event in Harrow & Brent returns in 2025 with a shining new name. Our much-loved Midnight Walk is now the Starlight Walk. We wanted the new name to reflect the magic of this memorable night, as we walk together under the stars.

On Saturday, 14 June, join us at Byron Hall as the Event Village opens at 7:30 PM, and step off at 9 PM to walk 5 or 9 miles through the night, raising vital funds for St Luke’s Hospice.

This family-friendly event is your chance to light up the streets, walking alongside hundreds of supporters to celebrate loved ones and support the compassionate care we provide. Whether you’re walking in memory of someone special or simply to make a difference, the Starlight Walk promises an unforgettable experience.

For years, this event has been a highlight in Harrow & Brent, bringing families, friends, and even pets together for a night full of meaning and community spirit.

Save the date: Saturday, 14 June, 9 PM, at Harrow Leisure Centre.

Please note that from Thursday 5 June 2025 at 5pm, we will no longer be posting out t-shirts. You can collect your t-shirt from the Hospice Reception up until 5pm on Thursday 12 June. Alternatively, you can collect it on the day of the event between 12pm to 2pm, or from 7:30pm when the event village opens.

Live Event Highlights:

  1. Free T-shirt and medal
  2. Two fully marshalled routes
  3. Live warm-up entertainment
  4. Various stalls from face painting to henna
  5. Rest stops and toilet facilities along the way

The impact of Starlight Walk on our care

The funds raised with the event will go towards the palliative and end of life care we provide in Harrow and Brent. If you decide to set up a fundraiser:

  • £100 could enable a St Luke’s nurse to give 4 hours of specialist care in our Inpatient Unit.
  • £56 could enable a health care assistant to provide practical and compassionate support in a person’s home.
  • £22 could provide people with an hour of practical support from St Luke’s 24/7 helpline.
