Finance Assistant
Contract: Fixed Term Temporary 3 months (absence cover) / Full Time
Salary: £29,000 pa
Location: Kenton Grange, HA3 0YG

Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our finance team on a fixed-term contract to provide cover during a period of absence. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and supportive environment, working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Income Generation
- Recording and reconciling all income for hospice and retail.
- Managing monthly rental income and expenses
- Recording recycling income
- Providing fundraising department with details of income
- Posting and reconciling all bank transactions to Sage
Accounting
- Managing Debtors
- Ensuring intercompany transactions are accurately recorded
Banking
- Managing day to day banking requirements
- Providing provisional cash flow forecasts
- Updating bank mandates and managing any banking queries
- Filing bank statements/bank charges reports received by post
- Providing the Fundraising team with float money as and when needed
This is an office-based role.
