The Role

St. Luke’s Hospice invites you to join us as our new Head of People, where your talents will directly contribute to our mission of reaching more people and improving lives.
As the Head of People, you will be at the heart of our organisation, driving strategies to attract, develop, and support our dedicated staff and volunteers. You’ll work closely with our Director of People & Organisational Development, executive directors, and other department heads to foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and empowerment. Your role will be pivotal in shaping a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
Imagine leading a team committed to caring for those who deliver and need our services, promoting respect and open-mindedness, and striving for excellence in everything we do. You’ll oversee the effective delivery of HR services and provide expert advice to key stakeholders, ensuring our organisation operates smoothly and efficiently.
In this dynamic role, you’ll contribute to the development and implementation of people strategies that align with our core purpose. You’ll lead initiatives like performance management, wellbeing, staff and volunteer engagement, and talent management. Your work will help transform our culture and support our mission to extend our impact through collaboration, innovation, and education.
