HOURS OF WORK: Part Time 30 hours per week

Job Purpose
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant on a six-month fixed-term basis at our hospice. As a vital member of our People and Organisational Development team, you will play a crucial role in providing essential HR support for both our staff and volunteers.
Your responsibilities will include managing transactional services related to staff and volunteers, overseeing recruitment processes, and handling various HR duties. This encompasses drafting offer letters, contracts, and providing general support to the People and Organisational Development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Management: Coordinate and manage recruitment processes from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and the organisation.
- Administrative Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in managing diverse administrative responsibilities crucial to the smooth functioning of our Hospice.
- Communication Hub: Act as the first point of contact for the People and Organisational Development Team. Ensure that all inboxes are effectively and efficiently maintained, responding to queries promptly or allocating them to the appropriate channels.
- Documentation: Draft offer letters, contracts, and other HR-related documents with precision and attention to detail.
