How St Luke's Hospice can support you
St Luke's Hospice helps people in Brent and Harrow, who are living with illnesses which can no longer be cured, to have the best possible quality of life.
We will work with you and your family to find out what care you need, and help to make sure that you are supported with your individual needs. You can be cared for at home or in our In Patient Unit, or you can attend our Woodgrange Centre for day therapies and out patient services.
You may have terminal cancer, an advanced long-term condition like heart or lung failure, a progressive neurological disorder, or another end stage illness. Whatever your illness, our team aim to make life better for you and your family.
What our patients say
"The nurses and doctors at St Luke's show kindness and consideration even in the small things. You really do feel that you are treated as a person rather than just a patient."
We know that having to come to terms with a serious illness can be difficult, stressful and upsetting. Our friendly, trained and supportive staff and volunteers will help you to feel reassured, more confident and safe.
What our nurses say
"I wanted to work in an environment where I could devote time to providing high quality care to patients, as well as spending time with the families. It is good to be able to support families during what can be a very difficult and emotional time. The nurses work closely with doctors, social workers, complementary therapists and physiotherapists to ensure that people with incurable illnesses and their families are cared for appropriately."
