Thank You
Thank you to everyone who supported our Light Up a Life celebration by volunteering, attending or donating.
A video of snapshots of the event will be posted here soon.

“I have attended the Light up a Life event at St Luke’s for several years in memory of my mother who was cared for by the hospice in her final days. Attending with family members has been a really moving experience and a lovely way to share memories and be with others who had lost loved ones recently and a while ago, but shared the same appreciation of the care and support they had received at St Luke’s. I’m looking forward to lighting a candle, walking in the memory garden, and sharing a reflective moment with others. The event makes visiting the hospice again a comforting and fulfilling experience, enabling visitors like myself to celebrate the lives of loved ones in a special atmosphere.”

Light Up A Life 2023
We held our in-person Light up a Life remembrance event on Sunday 3 December at St Luke’s Hospice. Local family and friends gathered to hear from St Luke’s staff and a family supported by the Hospice. There were moments of quiet reflection while listening to beautiful musical performances. The event culminated with a wonderful light show, illuminating the front of the Hospice building as well as the lighting up of our Memory Garden. Each light represents the life of someone special. Our Light Up A Life lights will keep shining throughout December and you are welcome to visit at anytime.
