You can make a simple Will safely and securely today with Make a Will Online. If you click here you can make a Will for free. All Wills are checked by a fully qualified solicitor, you’ll have access to their helpline too and if you have any legal questions you can get these answered by a solicitor. If you have a high value estate (details here) or complex needs (trusts or foreign assets), or have a dementia related illness or are on strong medication you should see a solicitor face-to-face. You can use the Solicitors Regulation Authority website to find a solicitor or use our free in-person Will writing service.

To protect your wishes in your Will against challenges, you have access to Capacity Vault free of charge. As part of our fundraising scheme we Will be told about when a Will is made, the amount and type of gifts, and (where you give consent) your name and contact details.

We understand some supporters may want to leave a gift without us knowing about it. You can use this link to make a Will online and we will not know about it until your executors contact us. However you choose to give we are incredibly grateful.

Remembering St Luke’s Hospice

There is no obligation to leave a gift to St Luke’s. We know that making a Will is an incredibly personal, and important matter which requires careful and considerable thought. Your family and friends should always come first when writing a Will. Once you are happy they have been provided for, please consider leaving a gift in your Will.

Legacies are incredibly important to St Luke’s and fund the cost of care for 1 in 6 of our patients. They allow us to ensure people get the complete care they need in the place of their choice. It enables us to make every moment matter for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families. Today, tomorrow and for years to come. The NHS funds only 30% of the total cost of St Luke’s services. Our supporters fund the rest through donations, taking part in events, supporting our shops and making gifts in Wills. Your legacy is our future.

Over the years, the gifts that people have generously left to us in Wills have helped us recruit more nurses, equip our Inpatient Unit and train staff to offer the best possible care when people need it the most.
