Caring for People in Harrow & Brent

Christmas Tree Recycling 2026

10th January 2026 - 11th January 2026 - All Day

Let’s be greener together.

The holiday season often leads to a significant amount of waste that can be challenging to manage, which is why we are introducing this special eco-friendly solution.

Our wonderful team of volunteers will pick up your real Christmas tree from your doorstep between 10 and 11 of January 2026. All you have to do is click on the ‘Register Now’ button in the top right hand corner.

FAQ’s

Do I have to make a donation?

We do not charge for this service. However, a suggested minimum £15 donation will help us continue to provide free care for our patients.

When will my tree be collected?

Your tree will be collected by our volunteers between 10 and 11 of January.

What happens if I forget to put my tree outside or my collection gets missed?

If you forget to put your tree outside, our volunteers will post a card through your letterbox to advise you that they have been round. Simply contact us on the details provided on the card and we will collect on another date. We will ensure that we do not miss any collections. However, if we accidently miss your tree collection, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via email or phone and we will correct this as soon as possible.

What postcodes do you collect trees from?

We will be collecting trees from the Harrow and North of Brent boroughs only. Your collection postcode must fall within these boroughs for us to successfully collect your tree.

What happens after I’ve made my booking?

Once you have made your booking, you will receive an email confirmation of your tree collection registration. We will keep you informed via email by sending you updates regarding your collection.

Where do I leave my tree?

Simply leave your tree outside your house on the Friday evening before the collection weekend (you can specify exactly where your tree will be during registration). You don’t need to be at home on the day.

What type of trees do you collect?

We only accept real trees of various sizes. Upon collection, these trees will be transformed into wood chips that will later be used within our local community. For this reason, we would kindly ask supporters to remove all decorations before we collect them.

When is the last date to register my tree collection?

Registrations close on Wednesday, 7 January 2026.

If you have any questions about your Christmas Tree collection you can contact the team on community@stlukes-hospice.org at any time or call us on 020 8382 8000 .
