St Luke’s Hospice Annual Walks

Since 1996, St Luke’s Hospice supporters have been taking on long-distance walking challenges to raise vital funds.

These Annual Walks take place each May and span four to five days, covering impressive distances across beautiful parts of the UK and Ireland – including the Wicklow Way.

We have developed a map showing the route taken by our walkers each year, which you can see below. (A larger version is on show at St Luke’s Hospice in Kenton Grange.)

For the first 20 years, the Walks were brilliantly organised by Lesley Dodd from our fundraising team. Lesley retired in 2015, but the tradition she began has continued, raising many thousands of pounds annually.

As a one-off event each year, the Annual Walk is one of the most successful and enjoyable ways to support St Luke’s.

We’d love you to join us. A warm welcome awaits all new walkers, and from January to May, we run a series of training walks to help everyone prepare.
