Join St Luke’s free remembrance event
Join us to celebrate your loved one’s life at our special remembrance event on Sunday 3 December. This community gathering is an opportunity for you to reflect on precious memories whilst listening to musical performances and hearing from our staff and a family who has experienced our care.
Write what your loved one means to you on a memory star and hang this on our beautiful remembrance tree at the event. Every life being celebrated will be honoured with the switching on of hundreds of bigger and brighter lights, each shining in their memory. The front of the Hospice building will also be illuminated with a musical light show to help make this event extra special.
St Luke’s volunteer, Carole shares, ‘The Light Up A Life event is a wonderful way of allowing people to remember their loved one. I found the event very moving and felt a huge empathy with the many others attending that night.’
