Want to take on something unique and exciting in 2023? Then look no further! The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is now one of the biggest marathons in the world and perfectly combines a personal challenge with the chance to discover one of the world’s greatest cities.
Race day will see you pound the pavements of the french capital’s most famous avenues and plazas. Starting at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, and finishing with views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower to guide you home. Every year, this unique and spectacular setting attracts more and more entrants. There are now more than 23,000 runners from abroad, making up 40% of the field.
Why support St Luke’s Hospice?
The money raised will help St Luke’s Hospice care for people at the end of their lives in Harrow and Brent, giving them the best possible quality of life. Every year the London Marathon raises over £15,000 for the Hospice, enough to fund a full-time St Luke’s Specialist Palliative Care nurse in our Inpatient Unit for 6 whole months, providing personal end-of-life care, helping to manage peoples’ pain, ensuring all their needs are met and providing support to their families.
