Lisa Egan has completed 2 skydives for St Luke’s in memory of her dad Tom and her best friend’s mum Bernie O’shea. Here she shares her story:
‘I did skydives in 2009 and 2019 in memory of my dad Tom and my best friend’s mum Bernie O’Shea. I can’t describe the feeling, it’s incredible, it’s amazing! I was so nervous, but its excitement, fear, adrenaline, but all in all it’s a great feeling, especially when you are sitting at the edge of the plane waiting to go out because you’re thinking “oh my gosh!”, it is incredible. I would recommend doing a skydive to anyone, it’s an experience that you would never have, it’s an adrenaline rush that you would never experience with anything else I don’t think, and you always feel really safe as well, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
