Contract: Permanent 30 hours / 15 hours available (flexible 7 day rota)
Salary: 30hr (£18,642.40 pa) / 15hr (£9,321.20 pa)

Job Purpose and scope
The role of an assistant relief manager involves mobile working to assist the Shop Manager during busy periods or to cover days off, absence and holidays.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of supervising a team as the role may require managing shops in the absence of the Manager. It is crucial that in the absence of a manager that the shop continues to run as effectively as when they are present.
You will possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to work within a team and manage volunteers and a passion for working towards targets and supporting the Hospice.
You must be able to travel between our shops in the Harrow and Brent area.
To be responsible for the overall management of the shop in the Manager’s absence.
Holding a key to the shop premises during the Manager’s absence.
Opening and closing the shop, and ensuring that the advertised trading hours are adhered to.
Ensuring that the shop premises are clean and tidy and that Health and Safety regulations are observed.
Encouraging and accepting donated goods for sale.
To raise funds for the Hospice by selling donated clothing and bric and brac to the general public.
