Setting up a page online is the best way to raise sponsorship from your friends, family and colleagues.
An online giving page lets you tell people why you are fundraising and what you are doing. You can add photos, videos and update your story with new posts and content that will help encourage your supporters to make donations. It only takes a few minutes to set up your page.
People donating to your page get to see an immediate impact as their donation gets listed on your page, with a comment or message from them if they’d like to wish you well, and their amount added to your running total. You can set up your own personalised thank you message that will be sent to each of your sponsors after they make their donation.
The sponsorship you raise will be sent directly to St Luke’s Hospice within a month of each donation being made. Gift Aid, which can add up to 25% on top of each donation, is processed automatically and sent to us along with the donations.
If you are fundraising in memory of a loved one, you can set up a memorial page with Much Loved
Once we received confirmation that our places had been guaranteed for the London Marathon 2021, we immediately set up our Just Giving page to support St Luke’s Hospice. Setting up our page was a quick and easy process. So far we have managed to raise almost £5,000 by sharing our link on Facebook, Instagram and emails. We aim to continue our fundraising for such a wonderful cause.
