Caring for people in Harrow and Brent

RDP Newmans goes extra mile for St Luke’s Hospice

St Luke’s Hospice is incredibly grateful for the support of community businesses like RDP Newmans, whose fundraising efforts help local families facing serious illness across Harrow and Brent.

More than 40 members of staff from the Harrow-based accounting practice will take on the Nine Bridges Challenge this July, walking nearly seven miles across London and crossing nine iconic bridges in support of St Luke’s Hospice.

The fundraising challenge has been organised by Lyndon Perez, a partner at the company, whose wife Sarah was cared for by St Luke’s before she sadly passed away in 2025.

Speaking about the support his family received, Lyndon said: “St Luke’s supported Sarah and me very well. My family and I are endlessly grateful for the love, care, and support we received from St Luke’s. Their kindness has been a lifeline.”

This year’s challenge will form the company’s summer event, with more than half the team stepping forward to take part and raise money for local hospice care.

RDP Newmans has supported St Luke’s before through both fundraising and personal connections to the hospice. Back in 2011, members of staff took part in a sponsored firewalk in aid of the charity.

Everyone at St Luke’s Hospice would like to thank Lyndon, the team at RDP Newmans, and everyone supporting the challenge for their kindness, generosity, and support.

Every donation raised will help St Luke’s continue providing compassionate care and support to local people and their families when they need it most.
