St Luke’s Hospice appoints Jo Pearce as Chief Executive

A new chapter of leadership as the Hospice approaches its 40th anniversary.

St Luke’s Hospice (Harrow and Brent) is delighted to announce the appointment of Joanna (Jo) Pearce as its new Chief Executive, following an external competitive recruitment process led by the Board of Trustees.

Jo has been an integral part of St Luke’s for seven years during which time she has led Fundraising and Marketing and made a significant contribution to strengthening the Hospice’s profile, relationships with supporters and income generation. For the past eight months, she has served as Interim Chief Executive, providing steady, compassionate and effective leadership through an important period of transition.

Jo’s deep understanding of St Luke’s underpins her strong connection to the communities it serves and she demonstrates a passionate commitment to the Hospice’s values and purpose. The Board is confident that she will confidently lead the organisation into its next chapter—developing its services, strengthening its financial sustainability and ensuring that even more local people receive the outstanding care and support they need.

It provides an opportunity both to celebrate the difference the Hospice has made during almost 40 years of caring for the people of Harrow and Brent, and to look ahead with confidence to the next chapter of its service to the community.
