St Luke’s receives recognition for work to reduce health inequalities
We are proud to share that St Luke’s Hospice has received a certificate in recognition of our work to reduce health inequalities, following a nomination from NHS North West London ICB.
St Luke’s is dedicated to improving the lives of those facing life-limiting illnesses by providing tailored support that bridges gaps in care. Through initiatives like our Retreat Days or Partnership Learning Groups, patients and their families or unpaid carers attend group sessions led by our therapy team. These sessions help people manage symptoms such as shortness of breath, fatigue, and mobility challenges.
The groups also provide an opportunity for attendees to learn from one another, with many staying in touch after the sessions. The feedback we receive is overwhelmingly positive, demonstrating the significant impact these sessions have in building confidence and improving symptom management.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helps us in this mission.
