St Luke’s Hospice responds to announcement of additional government funding for hospices

St Luke’s welcomes the announcement today by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care of additional support for hospices.

“This announcement is very welcome news for St Luke’s Hospice, our staff, and our communities in Brent and Harrow. All hospices are under severe financial strain, and the situation facing St Luke’s is no different. This additional support will ease some of our financial pressures and help us in the short term to continue our vital work providing high-quality compassionate care for our local community.
