Temporary closure of St Luke’s Hospice Inpatient Unit (IPU), Harrow and Brent

As part of the refurbishment works currently taking place in our Inpatient Unit (IPU), removing the ceilings has raised concerns about fire safety compartmentation in this area of the building. While the wider building remains safe to use, the IPU is temporarily closed.

Further assessments are taking place, and we will reopen the IPU when the necessary fire-safety requirements have been met.

All other clinical services continue to operate as normal.
