We are delighted with the success of this, and thank you for engaging so positively with this offer. All the available appointments with our participating will writers have now been used.

A special thanks to our participating will writers:

Whilst the campaign has ended for 2023, please don’t worry as we are continuing this campaign for 2024. We will be updating our website with more details in May 2024. If you would like to be first to hear about the new offer, please email remember@stlukes-hospice.org with your details to be on the list.

You are still able to write your Will for free all year round using one of our online will-writing partner services: Kwill, Make a Will Online and Octopus Legacy. For more information click here.

Make a Will seminars

Following our successful seminars in May 2023, we held a further two evening seminars at the Hospice in October 2023 for Make a Will month. The sessions were completely free and open for everyone to attend.  Shandip Shah from Balance Consultancy presented on the importance of making and having a Will, Lasting Power of Attorney and Inheritance Tax.

40 attendees joined us and were able to take away valuable insights from the event and found the seminars informative and engaging. One attendee commented:

Very informative & practical. Shandip Shah has a lot of knowledge and this topic is very important for every individual.

If you are interested in the seminars and would like to be one of the first to be invited, please email us at remember@stlukes-hospice.org with your contact details and we will add you to the waiting list for the seminars in May 2024.

Remembering St Luke’s Hospice

Legacies are incredibly important for St Luke’s and fund the cost of care for 1 in 7 of our patients. Your personal wishes should always come first when writing your Will. Once you are happy they are taken care of, if you choose to leave us a gift, of any size, we will be profoundly grateful.

The NHS funds only 25% of the total cost of St Luke’s services. Your legacy is our future.

When the time is right for you to leave a charitable gift in your Will, please remember St Luke’s and help us make every moment matter for the future of our hospice.

If you have any questions, please contact Jo Pearce or Suman Shakib today at email at remember@stlukes-hospice.org or by phone 020 8382 8000.

We recommend that you get independent professional advice when making a Will. Please note that participating solicitors will be acting in your best interests and on your instructions only. St Luke’s Hospice pays for the writing of Wills as this helps us to generate income from gifts in Wills by removing the need for supporters to pay for their Wills. There is no obligation to leave a legacy gift to St. Luke’s Hospice.

Please note that as St Luke’s Hospice is not a registered trust corporation, and is only a registered charity, we are unable to act as your Executor, Witness or Legal Personal Representative.
